I wouldn't ever buy fish from Walmart again. Though their prices are reasonable... the fish just do not last from there.. so in essence money it is cheaper just to go with a repitable pet store.

I've purchase several different fish(beta, gold fish, shark) for my kids and a week later all of them were dead! I purchase a gold fish & beta from Pet smart and they are still alive 6 months later!
