Sorry I've been so busy I barely have time to eat, let alone lay down my views of the latest scrubby brush, etc.
I now work full time at home and God help me, so does my significant other! Just keeping him fed is a full time job so you can imagine my day's pretty full. (whew)
Wish me luck, y'all, cuz with him here 24/7, I go to the dentist just to get free of him for a while! (Can't go shopping! No money, and gas prices like they are......well, you get the picture!)

I have to say to all my friends and fans out there who like myself, spend the majority of thier day with their face plastered to their PC Monitor, thanks for stopping by and I hope that you glean some insights on what's on tap for your next movie night or anything you might want to know about me.
About me:
I'm real, sentimental, passionate, friendly, up-beat, energetic, outdoorsy, quick to love, college educated, author, comic, singer, animal lover, movie buff, gourmet cook, and collector of famous quotes.
I've been dubbed "Goose". Most of my friends know me no other way. A few years ago, I even opened a pet sitting business entitled Mother Goose Pet Care due to my overwealming love of all things furry, feathered, hoofed, pawed, creapy, crawly, (or in the instance of some old boyfriends) slimy and scaly.
I am a movie watcher and critic with a keen eye for what I like and don't like and I lay it down in a no-holds-barred fasion. I (unlike my significant other) know when to turn off a crappy movie. I can tell in the first five minutes if I'm going to spend any more time watching it. It's two hours I'll never get back if it sucked. Life is too short to waste on cinema with a high suck factor and lets face it, these days, there's a lot of it out there. (Alien VS Predator hits the top of my high suck factor scale) They just don't make movies like they used to.
I'm one woman who knows herself very well...I don't cry over spilt milk, I don't freak out over a broken nail, I hate chick flicks, and I love football and a good ol' fasioned boxing match on PPV. I've even have some experience installing drywall and toilets!
I don't have a lot of excess emotional baggage...I stopped carrying around the issues and regrets of my past due in part to hitting a few walls, and then being given a perverbial slap upside the head like the V-8 commercial in the form of a very powerful vision. i won't relay the essence; it is too personal, but I can divulge that In that moment of spiritual clarity, I learned that it was making the journey in life far more difficult than it needed to be by hauling all that dead crap around inside my soul, and besides it was just giving me a false reading on my bathroom scale anyway! To sum; Don't dwell on the past...You can't drive straight if you're always staring into the rear-view.
One of my favorite sayings is "If you can't rid yourself of the skeleton in the closet, you best teach him to dance." Learn from your mistakes. Don't wallow in regret.
I can't wait to finish the inspirational/self-help and Sci-fi novels I'm writing; I love anything having to do with self expression and learning; I believe in finding power within yourself to change lives.
I firmly believe that anyone can be a hero (even if you never save a bus-full of nuns), and it all has to do with inner strength and how you see yourself. A positive outlook and true self-love can open many doors in life. An amazing exsistance can be built from a mere, singular dream. My dad has always said, "The brain is a muscle that can move the world"... Fly with YOUR dreams. Think big, play large, dream huge, live gigantic, and Love Beyond Measure! In the words of Doug Butabi (from A Night At The Roxburry) "You can take away my car, and you can take away my phone, but you can't take away my dreams 'cuz I'm - like, sleeping when I have them!"
To all of you, this is my wish:
If you fall, may it be in love.
If you cry, may it be in joy.
If you bend low, may it be to dance.
If you dream, may it inspire action
If you raise your voice, may it be to sing,
and if you wish, may it become reality!
Namaste, Y'all!
