I have mixed feelings about this paint

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

My husband and I just bought our first home and the entire house "needed" to be painted. I decided to go with Sherwin Williams for paint. Not only is their paint great but their customer service always exceeds what is expected.

All together I purchased seven different colors. Three of those were the Sherwin Williams Duration paint. I painted my kitchen Bengal Grass, my dining room Trinket and a bedroom Gypsy Red. Those colors are only available in this paint so I had to buy it. But, I didn't mind paying the extra money, especially with all of the added benefits of this paint. This paint is low VOC and low odor. It states it is an antimicrobial formula that resists mildew growth and it has S...

My lips have never been so happy!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The last time I was in Yankee Candle I found out they were selling lip balms and shortly after I read review saying how great they are. That was it, I was sold. So, I went to Yankeecandle.com and was pleasantly surprised to find out they were having a sale. A set of 4 lip balms was only $5!! This was a great deal considering each one retails for about $4.

In the gift set I purchased I received Vanilla Cupcake, Christmas Cookie, Vanilla Lime and Strawberry. Each lip balm is crafted to look like and taste like Yankee Candle's famous jars candles. I think they're really cute. Not only do these look cute but they have great ingredients, including some organic ones like extra vir...

The Raspberry kind tastes like cough syrup!

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I recently read a review about No Pudge! Fudge Brownies and decided to buy them. My husband's new year resolution was to lose a few pounds so I thought this would be perfect. There were only two flavors to choose from, original and raspberry. We decided to go with the raspberry and were highly disappointed.

This fudge brownie mix isn't your ordinary brownies, they're fat-free and all natural. A box sells for around $4.To make the brownies you just need to mix 2/3 cup of yogurt into the mix. It took about two 8 oz yogurt cups, I used La Creme Vanilla yogurt. After stirring for a few minutes the batter eventually started to blend together. I sprayed my 8x8 ...

The best strawberry milk I've ever had!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have been buying Horizon Organic Single Serve Strawberry milk for a while now. I was a little apprehensive the first time my six-year-old son picked these out because they aren't cheap. But once I took my first sip, I knew they were worth it and I would be back to purchase more.

I buy the 3-pack for around $3.50 and sometimes I buy the singles for $1 each. This is pricey but it could be a lot worse. The thing that I love most about this milk, besides taste, is that it doesn't need to be refrigerated until you want to drink it or after you open it.

Being shelf stable doesn't mean that this milk lacks in the flavor department or that it's some weird milk b...

It doesn't smell like gingerbread but I like it

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When my husband ordered me a few things from Philosophy for Christmas I got to pick two samples. I was only interested in the body wash so I picked The Gingerbread Man and Amazing Grace.

I was really shocked at how large the sample packet was, it's a .5 oz foil bag which is plenty enough for you to be able to use it at least twice. I thought the gingerbread man on the front was cute, but deceiving.

After investigating the bag I noticed that Philosophy made no promise to having a gingerbread scent on the package. It states there is a ginger scent but nothing about a gingerbread scent. However, a few websites do state that it's supposed to smell&nbsp...

Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Overall

The other day while shopping I noticed Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Chai Tea. I briefly skimmed the label and thought I would like it. I was right, this stuff is awesome!

For around $4 I bought a 32 oz. bottle. The bottle says it's a blend of green tea, soy protein and chai spices that is naturally sweetened with vanilla. The drink is all natural. There are no preservatives, artificial ingredients and it's dairy free.

The chai tea has lots of vitamins and it's low fat. In 8 oz. you get 160 calories, 28 fat calories, 3 grams of fat and 1 gram of saturated fat. There's 60 grams of sodium, 21 grams sugar, 530 grams of potassium, and 10 grams of protein. In addition it has 30% Calciu...

It's good but not great

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

In my order from drugstore.com I was given a free sample of Tom's of Maine Natural Whole Care Peppermint toothpaste. The first time I had heard of Tom's of Maine was here at Viewpoints so I had never tried their products.

Tom's of Maine produces a variety of natural hygienic products like deodorants, soap, toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss. Their toothpastes are made for all sorts of purposes. The Whole Care line comes in five flavors - peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon-clove, wintermint and orange-mango. The tube that the toothpaste comes in isn't like your typical Colgate or Crest, it's a soft mailable metal tube. That makes it a little difficult to squeeze out all the toothp...

Okay product but may cause eye irritation and it's expensive

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

About  2 weeks ago I purchased Earth's Best Organic Shampoo and Body Wash. I was really excited about trying it. Although it was expensive, I didn't mind because of all the good things about this wash.

The wash has a lavender scent and can be used as body wash or shampoo. It's a tear free formula but they recommend not getting it in baby's eyes. It contains 70% organic ingredients and contains Beta-Glucan. The gentle formula is hypo-allergenic and has no parabens. Some of the ingredients include Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Panthenol, and oat oil.

I paid around $7 for the small 8.5 oz bottle. One of the best things with this wash, besides the ingredients, is the bottle. I lo...

Leaves hands smelling minty fresh

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have recently been trying to switch all of my cleaning products at home with more eco-friendly versions. That includes our hand wash. I found Method Refresh Mint Hand Wash. I loved the look and smell, plus it uses natural and naturally derived ingredients. The price wasn't bad either.

For a 12 fl. oz. bottle I paid around $3, most other leading brands are priced the same. The bottle is clear and it's in the shape of a tear drop. The soap is a clear neon green color, it reminds me of a Sprite bottle. This hand wash contains no Triclosan, it's biodegradable and there's no animal testing.

Personally, I love the smell of mint. The Refresh...

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Drugstore.com was recently running a promotion on Yes to Carrots products. If you spend so much on Yes to Carrots products, they include a free full-sized sample of Yes to Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter Berry scent. I was excited to try out my new lip butter.

I usually have dried lips. And honestly, I usually don't wear lip balm. But a free sample, I had to try it. Yes to Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter is USDA Certified Organic. It's made of 95% organic products and it's all-natural. When looking at the ingredients I noticed all sorts of great things added to the lip butter. There's coconut oil, olive oil, Jojoba oil, and Shea Butter and it includes things like orange peel extract, melon...

All babies love Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

When both of my sons were at their teething stages I didn't hesitate to buy Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits. They help babies relieve pain from teething and teaches them to feed theirselves.

You will know that these are right for your baby when they start to crawl on their hands and knees, eat thicker foods, uses their jaws to smash food and can hold small foods between their thumb and first finger.

The Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits are shaped sort of like a stretched out peanut. My kidsdidn't have any problems keeping hold of this little treat. They taste sort of like a graham cracker. They're pretty hard but once it's oozing with spit it softens up.

There are only a couple proble...

Couldn't keep my son entertained long enough

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

My son received this toy for his first Christmas, he was eight months old. It is a really cute ball but my son just didn't find it very interesting. He's now 17 months old and just likes to throw it in hope of it bouncing.

It is a cute toy with a good concept. The Vtech Move & Crawl ball is an interactive, motorized ball. The ball is about 7" and has bright, fun colors. There are three cartoon style animals, there is a cat, a monkey and a dog. On the ball there are three different colored shapes with the numbers 1-3 on them and animals. And on the the top there is a lady bug that spins around. Yes there is an off and volume switch.

When you turn the ball on it ...

Just what your baby or toddler needs for a healthy smile

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

As a mom I know that practicing dental hygiene early is a good idea. When my youngest son was a baby he had the tooth cleaner that you put on your finger. Once he was older, with a mouth full of teeth, he needed a real toothbrush.

I found the Gerber Grins & Giggles Toddler Tooth and Gum Cleaner for a good price. For around $5 it included a 1.4 oz tube of tooth and gum cleaner and a toothbrush.

The Grin & Giggles Tooth and Gum  cleaner is a natural mixed berry flavor. It contains no fluoride and it's safe to swallow. It's made with natural fruit flavors and uses no artificial colors. It's a very mild fruit flavor. The cleaner is safe to use ...
