I bought this item when it hit Wal-mart's clearance aisle.  That should have been a clue.  The biggest drawback was the attatched hose.  You have to install a coupling on your faucet to be able to fill it up through the hose, which is the only way it would work. I have two faucets in my house.  The kitchen faucet is set up for using my portable dishwasher and I cannot do without that.  The other is in my small itsy bitsy bathroom sink, in which it is extremely difficult to contort the pitcher to the correct angle for filling.  The top of the pitcher is easily breakable, and angle of the pour...
