I bought this item when it hit Wal-mart's clearance aisle. That should have been a clue. The biggest drawback was the attatched hose. You have to install a coupling on your faucet to be able to fill it up through the hose, which is the only way it would work. I have two faucets in my house. The kitchen faucet is set up for using my portable dishwasher and I cannot do without that. The other is in my small itsy bitsy bathroom sink, in which it is extremely difficult to contort the pitcher to the correct angle for filling.
