I have worn Acuve lenses before and switched to Acuvue Oasis contact lenses last fall. I have thrown away many lenses because they get torn after wearing only for 1 day. I find a tiny piece gets torn away from the edge. I sometimes wore them without noticing and felt uncomfortable. I check and see a very small edge is gone. I complained to the company and they call my local eye doctor's office so that I can pick up a replacement. It is troublesome to do it many times, so never complained again because tearing happens so frequently. I don't have long nails, and never had this issue with other contact...
