Damp Rid used to make a flat disk with a light-smelling product on both sides of the cardboard.  The product absorbed moisture and could be hung by the pre-cut hole, or leanned against a basement wall, or hooked over a hanger for the back of a closet.  These were great little de-humidifiers!  Unfortunately, the Florida company discontinued these!! 

The company decided to keep making the "product with a bag".  As moisture collects through the product, it drops into a bag which of course gets heavier and heavier as water collects.  The bag takes on a partly sticky feel when it gets full. ...
