The Love-Less Dustless shop vac is a great vacuum. It is truly "dustless" sweeping. With most shop vacs, you can see the dust spitting out after passing through the filter - not so with the Dustless.

The Dustless vac has optional bags (kind of pricey but work great!) that contain all the dirt and dust from the hose before it ever hits the filter. When using these, the filter remains perfectly clean.

We have the sander and it works very well, no gimmicks here. We have used it on new drywall and didn't have to plastic the doorways off. In that case, there is some fine dust, but nothing like free-hand...
