WALL-E, despite what many are taking, is not about killing Walmart. It's not about electronics being evil. It's not about obesity (I find it silly people expect humans who've done nothing but sit in their chairs all their lives to not be large, and this is coming from a teen who is large herself. Honestly, I'd find it more offensive if everybody was thin because it looks prettier and has more cinematic glitz.) It's not even about cleaning up Earth (but I never saw the problem with recycling.)
