Hotel del Coronado

Way overpriced, given the ammenities and rude front desk staff.

The "Hotel Del" bills itself as one of the top resorts in Southern California, located on the ocean on Coronado Island, across the bay from San Diego. It is overpriced and front desk staff were notably rude and incompetent. The rooms are so-so for what they charge. I guess they figure people are willing to pay for the beach-front location and "historic appeal" while overlooking paper-thin walls and poor service.
