    The iPod shuffle is a great gift for people of all ages.  My grandma even has one!  It is the perfect size if you want to use it at the gym or when traveling.  I prefer to use it when at the beach and/or pool during the summer months because it is so inexpensive that you don't have to worry about it getting water or sand on or in it.  Also, it doesn't have a soft screen that could easily get broken when spending a day in the sun.
