This is the first digital camera I've purchased for myself. The others I've had were gifts. I read some reviews and did some price comparisons, and when I found this camera on sale at Circuit City for 89 bucks, I jumped on that deal. I am amazed at how good the quality is on this camera! I was looking for something that could focus close up on small objects, as I am a jewelry maker. This camera really does a fantastic job on macro mode and I have been thrilled with the results.
