While I am saddened by what JK Rowlings has said about Dumbladore's sexual orientation, I am happy to say that none of that was written into this book. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end, and does not wrap up until the last page. The descriptions are wonderful although this is not a children's book by any means. I am impressed with how she has grown as a writer, but I do wish that she would keep her unnecessary comments about things that don't have barring on the books, to herself, before she destroys her legacy.
