Reliable, trustworthy, affordable

on a strict budget

USAA has a strong reliable reputation as being a trustworthy miltary-based insurer. You have to meet their eligibility criteria in order to be considered for membership. They have the highest rating (A ++) from the A.M. Best company, an independent company which rates insurance companies. The rates tend to be affordable, but they also usually follow fairly strict underwriting guidelines. Their service is consistently rated very high.
