I'm looking forward to the year 2010. The past year was kind of a 'best of times, worst of times' kind of year for me. It's time to shake things up and make some big changes in my life again.
Another heavy snowfall here in Denver tonight - I guess it's going to be a long, long winter this year. Snow lovers and ski resorts are rejoicing though.
We have 19'' of snow on the ground today in Denver - and a few more inches are on the way! They even closed our office today - yeah - I finally get a day off of work :)
I reached 50,000 lifetime points today. Thanks to everyone who helped me get this far. Now I have to get busy soon writing some more reviews!
I'm really looking forward to the Labor Day Weekend. It's been a long. busy summer and I really need a break from ''everything''. If you have the weekend off - enjoy!
I recently moved and have been quite busy ''off-line''. Hope to get into the swing of reviewing again since I now have a ton of 'Home & Garden' items to review!
I am planning to move later this month. It's kind of nerve-wracking with all the economic uncertainty and the fact I'll need to care for a yard and do house maintenance, but I am looking forward to the challenge. And my dog wlll just love having a fenced yeard. He's tired of apartment life too !
I saw my first tornado today! Wow - kind of scary but was 20+ miles away so we were safe. The storm moved through a lightly populated area southeast of Denver and then out onto the open Plains.
When lived in the Midwest I once lived through a weak tornado (F0 rating) but it hit at 1AM so we didn't actually see it That storm blew off some of my neighbor's roofs. That's enough now!
My One Year anniversary on Viewpoints is fast approaching. It's been lots of fun - I hope to stick around for a while longer :)
I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I get President Day off for a holiday and can't wait for a little break from work! In the meantime I've been finding more time to spend on Viewpoints and start preparing to buy a house later this year.
Another 10+ hour work day. I hope it eases up soon! I don't have much time for Viewpoints anymore. On the bright side I'm looking forward to the Eagales vs. Cardinal football game next weekend. Who will make it to the SuperBowl?
2008 has been quite a year for me. Early in the year I sold my home, quit my job, and moved to Colorado. It was fun, but kind of a risky move. Like many others, I didn't realize the job market was about to tighten up.
I was thankful to find a job after a 7-1/2 month job search. Now I got to make sure I keep that job which means working some overtime. I'll still be around on Viewpoints, but not as much as I would like to be. In the meantime, I'll watch for all the great reviews my friends on Viewpoints are posting, and maybe still post a few reviews myself from time to time.
I'm looking forward to seeing the latest James Bond movie ''The Quantum of Solace''.
I started a new job this week. With all the uneasiness in the stock market and prospect of a slower economy in the coming months, I feel very fortunate to have found a good job. Now I have to perform up to their expectations - yikes :O
