Thanks, this 9:30 pm kickoff for the first game is going to be a hard one to stay awake until the end...LOL! We are used to the game being over at 9:30 central time!

I read a couple of stories in the Miami Herald - buried, of course, in the inside pages - about a commemoration in Poland. Germany's Chancellor expressed her country's regrets about invading Poland in 1939 and everything that resulted from it, but Vladimir Putin tried to downplay the Soviet Union's role in helping Hitler kick off World War II by signing the infamous Moscow Non-Aggression Pact a week before the war began. Indeed, Putin tried to shift the blame to the West, saying Russia was left to fight the Nazis by herself for two years.

I know! My husband is slim and 6' and I'm 5'5" so I have no idea why the youngest one is so tall. My father and brother were/are 6'1" and my hubby's mom was 6' so maybe that's it. My 18 year old will end up at 6'4" they think as he is surpassing 6'3" now! Crazy.
