Perfect device for the occassional weekend waffles maker.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Cuisiniart Round Classic Waffle Maker is a great & inexpensive addition to the kitchen. While I dont make waffles very often, it is worth the investment to have it on hand for weekend mornings when you want yummy pancakes. It makes perfectly crisp waffles in a matter of minutes!

iPad 3 continues to impress. Image quality is amazing!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Okay, so I've only owned the iPad 3 for 4 days, but I already like it so much more than my iPad 1st generation. Note: I never upgraded to the 2, so it was definitely about time for me to upgrade!

My love of the iPad 3 started in the store when the sales guy dubbed "Garden Gnome" by his colleagues, showed me the movie Tangled. The image quality was so amazing! The quality of the screen alone made me need to buy one. I haven't yet put the new photo tools to work, but that is on my radar, since that is another hallmark of the new iPad.

Perhaps my favorite part of buying the iPad was the actual shopping experience. Dont order online or pre-order. Go to the store! The staff make you feel like ...

Jergens is a solid 'B' for tinting and a 'D' for smell

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Overall, I like the subtle coloring of the cream for light tones. When you are as pasty white as I am, it helps to use a lotion that has a little extra tint to it. Note: If I used the medium or dark cream, I would definitely turn orange!

While Jergens gives me a natural glow, it does smell really badly. This is the only downside of the product. Well, and it is sticky for about 30 minutes.

Overall, I really like the 4S. It is far faster than my 3GS and I like the expanded functionality with video and better photo taking. I am sure there are more benefits to the phone that I dont even recognize.

I always forget about my rival crockpot--until chilli season!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

My advice is to get a Rival Cookpot and USE IT! I have had one for about 5 years and every season I forget about it until the Chicago winter chill comes. Then, I remember how much I love making comfort food in the crockpot. And, I guess most importantly, I forget how easy it is to make a meal. For example, for a great pulled pork, put in a large pork shoulder, a bottle of dark beer and a container of your favorite BBQ sauce and shazam-- 8 hours later (or 6 or 4) and you have wonderful pulled pork for sandwiches!!!! :) The Rival slowcooker is a classic and a timesaver. Everyone should have one.

Love the concept of the iPad, just not in love with it yet!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have owned by iPad now for about a year. I really like the portability of the ipad, the larger screen (compared to my phone), the weight (compared to my laptop) and the general design and interface.I also prefer to read books on my iPad versus my kindle.

With that said, I dont use it as much as I would like. I think it is partially due to the poor battery life. So, that is my only bummer.

Am I the only one that doesnt love my Kindle?

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Dont get me wrong. The Kindle has changed the way people read. But, if you like to read books before you go to bed (like I do), then I would reconsider the Kindle. The Kindle is amazingly portable, and is easy on the eyes, and helps you save your back (and bank account) but the dark screen with the gray background makes me fall asleep almost instantly. There is something about reading a book on the Kindle that just puts me out. My solution to this problem is to use the Kindle app on my iPad and read on my iPad. I prefer the lighting and the color.

Challenging workout even for the fittest - Get ready to sweat!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I started P90x about 3.5 weeks ago. I have to say, I bought it pretty blind. I had no idea what I was getting into-- which is probably a good thing!

So, what is P90x? P90 is a hardcore, 6-day-per week workout that can be done in your home with minimal equiptment. You need a pull up bar, some basic weights, a yoga mat, water bottle and a towel! Each day, you spend anywhere from 1 hour to 1.5 hours doing a workout video. One day is weights and abs, the next day Tony's version of martial arts, the next day 1.5 hours of Yoga, and on and on.... There is a different routine each day. And, it crossing almost every workout discipline you can think of.

The first week of P90x was HELL for me. I woul...

Crazy, but I love the fish & potatoes; hate the shipping cost

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I recently bought a whole bunch of fish from Omaha Steaks. It was a sampler set of mild white fish- I believe 8 or 10 pieces for about $60. (It did include fish sticks as well) The fish was delicious and in minutes, I was able to thaw it out, season it, pop it in the george foreman and have a healthy meal.

The portion sizes are reasonable, the quality high and the delivery pretty fast. I also like that Omaha Steaks often has deals and coupons. The only problem is that even with deals applied, it is still pretty pricey for frozen fish.

In addition to the fish, I do really enjoy most of the sides at Omaha Steaks. In particular, the double baked potatoes are delicious! (although, note- they h...

Moroccanoil is the perfect treatment for dry hair!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Moroccanoil is one of my favorite beauty products! I use Moroccanoil daily after washing my hair to add moisture back into my scalp, hair follicles and hair. My hair stylist suggested Moroccanoil to me over a year ago and I have been hooked on it every since.

Here's what you do. You put a dime size of oil in your palm and rub your hands together. Then, you apply the Moroccanoil to the ends of your hair to add moisture back into your hair. You do not want to apply it to your scalp. That will make is super greasy. If your hair is dry, fly away, frizzy, this is a great product for you.

If you have oil in your hair, I do not recommend that you use this product. It instantly adds shine to hair ...

This is head and shoulders better than any dandruff shampoo!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have a chronically dry scalp, dry hair follicles and dry hair. I am one of those people that can go 4 days without washing my hair and you would never notice. In fact, I usually travel with Morrocan oil to help hydrate my scalp and hair.

So, I always have dandruff shampoo on hand in my house. I have tried them all and hands down, Head and Shoulders is far superior to any of its competitors. It smells pretty good, is silky feeling and does take some of the dryness and itchiness away within a few applications. It never really works for me on the first application, but after a couple applications, I am good!

However, important to note: it doesnt come without the pricetag. Head and Shoulders...

I would never buy the William Sonoma Car Cake Pan again

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

Overall, I am not a big fan of the Willian Sonoma Vintage Class Car cake pan.

I must first say that I am an overall fan of William Sonoma- I love almost everything I own from William Sonoma, but this product bombs in my opinion.

I have tried to cook mini cakes with my son 4 times using this pan and each time it was a total disaster.

The pan itself is really cool. The Vintage Classic Car cake pan was really well designed and definitely inspired me to cook. The set includes a 1920's sedan and a 1950's convertible, a 1960s muscle car and more! The detail is pretty incredible and the pan itself has a nonstick finish. I was so eager to jump in cook with this pan.

But, what I found is it ...

Detergent makes me itch- but not Tide! Smells & feels great!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Okay, I have tried about a million laundry detergents. Everything from Tide to All to Eco-friendly products to baby products like Snuggle. I have been there and done that! I often have itching, rashes and some reaction to detergent. In the end, I always come back to the Original Tide laundry detergent.

Tide smells great, feels great and is my go-to laundry detergent. After years of testing out dozens of detergents, I will always default to the freshest smelling detergent- Tide! Okay, so now that you know it doesnt give me hives and it smells great, how does it clean?

I think it makes my clothes clean. They always look clean and fresh after I use Tide. But, I cant honestly say that it makes...

Method Cucumber is an eco-friendly cleaner that smells great!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Method cucumber cleaner is the best eco-friendly cleaner that I can find. It is relatively inexpensive relative to other eco-friendly cleaners (usually around $3 or $4 per bottle), it smells wonderful, and it actually cleans all of my home surfaces- marble, granite, quartz and porcelain.

Method cleaners come in a lot of different scents. Cucumber is definitely my favorite scent. I always default to buying the cucumber. On select occassions it hasnt been available so I bought the Grapefruit scent instead. I have to say that I really like that one as well, but not quite as much as cucumber.

My advice- try out the Method Cucumber Cleaner. If you want eco-friendly, less chemicals for you a...
