We bought this bed for the reason many people buy it--one spouse likes a firm mattress (me) and the other likes a soft mattress (my wife).  But if you expect the mattress to resolve the problem--don't get your hopes up.  Although my wife finds it to be comfortable, and sleeps well, I find it is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on.  Many nights I only get 2 or 3 hours of sleep (after the sheer exhaustion of tossing and turning until 4 or 5 a.m.).  I started out with firm settings, but later tried a wide range of sleep numbers, and whatever number I select, I find that it feels...
