I was brought up with Black Labs; had a few rescue dogs, and strays I found.  German Sheps and Shep mixes, a Dalmatian mix, 1 Yellow Lab.

 When I had to have my Yellow Goldie put to sleep I was lost.  My husband was out of my life, I lived alone(which was a lot better than having him around...but that's another story!)  I hated coming home from work to a house with no life except African violets.
