I am so excited to be finished with my schooling at the University of Phoenix. I have completed a Graduate in Human Resource Management Certificate (G-HRM) and am now planning on studying for the SHRM certification in December. My hope is to apply with the local state or with federal government for a position in HR and start a new career to help support my family. It will be a bitter-sweet transition as I will be away from my darling daughter but am hoping to find a workplace that offers a compressed workweek or flexible work schedules to accomodate my family life. It will be a challenge but not impossible.

I am in awe that the summer has flown by and still I have not had enough time to really enjoy the season. I absolutely love the fall but I know that I missed out on so much this summer because of being in school online. I am looking forward to rewarding myself for my hard work in some way at the end of September or the first of October when my program is finally complete. I hate to say I have "short-timers" but if I were really honest I would have to say that I should be studying right now instead of blogging....oh well. I have a limited budget so I will be looking for great ideas on local travel spots and fun ways to reward myself for the completion of my school-work. I let you know if I find some great ideas. I have just started to discover the world of blogging, online coupons, sweeps and free samples. My husband thinks that I have absolutely lost my mind and wonders why I am reviewing things online and researching every purchase for how much I can save with a coupon or offer. I am currently testing two seperate products and formulating reviews to write for each item. I have to say that it is wonderful and truely so much fun to find a great deal on something online and then pass on the information to others so they can save money also. I am a very frugal person, at heart, and it comes from my wonderful grandparents who grew up during the Depression and although they never used computers in their entire lives they would be proud to see that I am attempting to live the "frugal life" in the digital age.
