The 10 Freeway in California is a straight shot from the Pacific Ocean to Palm Springs (and beyond). After driving east of downtown Los Angeles, much of the drive becomes, shall we say, less than interesting. Auto dealerships and strip malls dominate the flat landscape for a while, and then - just when the boredom threatens to tip over into annoyance, the Monongo Casino, Resort & Spa comes into view.

We did see the Getty Center. The first time we spend lots of time there (the very first time was basically a drive through) we did just about every touristy thing we could including the Jay Leno show! Jo
Reaper was repeated either Weds or Thurs night at 9. Not sure if this will be an every week thing, but if you want to check it out, that may be an option. :)
