I attended IU for graduate school in Counseling. I graduated in 1995 and found I couldn't get a job in WI, MI, IL, IN, or OH without an MSW degree. Funny, my counseling program never told me that. Indiana didn't have licensing requirements for counselors until long after I'd left the state and I was there until 1997. So, their program did not prepare me for licensure in any state. To this day I am still trying to get all the credits I need to be able to sit for the licensing exam in my state.
