I've painted many a room over the years.  Have never used cheap paint or brushes. Used to love the paint from Pergament - a now defunct store. Recently, with my son-in-law who is a painter extraordinaire, we painted a huge kitchen - yellow and white> a great room used two colors  a celadon and burgundy with white trim, a bathroom- in Winter Lake blue -and white,  and most recently a bedroom.
