    I purchased the Archos for some long trans-continental flights but now I also use it on my daily commute to follow podcasts and some of my favorite TV shows. I previously had an iPod, but become unhappy with the low quality screen and limited options for playing non-Apple files.

    For Movies: It's hard to beat. My 80 gig model will store about 20 DVD quality movies, and the quality is noticeably better than anything else on the market. You also have the option of connecting it to a TV for playback, which is nice.

    For TV shows: It take a bit of work to get things working correctly with your cable...
