Fresh out of the box, and our June 2008 Clear-Play is unable to play a clean DVD straight through without crashing [ video locks up, exits to 'C' screen, unit re-loads, and starts the DVD as if for the first time (60 seconds)]. This is with No-filtering options engaged. There are routinely 6 to 20 crashes per video. — Watched Miss Congeniality, Clearplay device recognized video,  listed incomplete objectional material (limited to revealing clothing), but basically no filtering was present.
