I'm sad to say that I find many services provided by AARP to be overpriced but after check lots and lots of auto insurance companies I found that The Hardford actually saved me several hundreds of dollars over the other companies.  AARP really came through for me.

I have to watch every penny I spend and their low rates really helped me.  Their rates do go up a bit every year (I've been with them for many years) even as my car gets older, but so does everything else.  I'm fortunate that I've never had to file a claim but I have called them to make changes and other little questions over the years...
