Any watch will tell time. Why spend more than $14.95. If you are into adventure,sometimes out of bounds and want to be able to signal for a rescue in an emargency t over the global 121.5 emergency frequency his may be worth the price. 220 mile range to help rescue  services triangulate. Of course it does all the other chrongraph stuff that you might need but so will the $14.95 watch. The titanium one is very tough, bulky but still light enough to be comfortable.
