As a new "cook" and someone who is still unsure how to properly use a knife I was reluctant to spend the money on this product. After using it once I was a fan. No, it is not a food processor or mandolin but these products cost a lot more and I would have to read the instructions. The Vadalia Chopper is so easy to use. It is surprisingly strong. I actually stood on it the other day trying to chop a hard apple and it held my weight. Positives are it is inexpensive, easy to use, easy to clean up (dishwasher), and strong for such a cheap little thing. Drawbacks are I wish the cutting... read full review »
