Do not buy a washing machine or for that matter any other product made by Miele. 
I purchased a Miele washing machine and it arrived nearly a month ago with a broken drain hose connector. Despite Miele's marketing claims of wonderful customer service, my experience has been miserable, and utterly sub-par as compared to my experiences with GE, Jenn-Aire, LG and other manufacturers (I have done numerous renovations in recent years and have purchased numerous large appliances).
