It's hard to believe everyone is talking about the same washer and dryer.  My problems with this pair are completely different.  My old large capacity Whirlpool washer and dryer held more clothes, washed a load in 30 minutes, extra 5 for extra rinse.  This washer takes 1 1/2 hours for one load with extra rinse!  The "finished" alarm goes off anytime during the cycle for a full minute, but not when it's actually finished.  If you try to stop the alarm during this point in the cycle, the whole cycle starts all over again for another hour and a half.  Then the clothes come out in a knot...
