I purchase Dollar General Sunflower Seed Packets for my backyard....and was skeptical due to the super low price..thought perhaps the seeds would be old or wouldn't take.

WAS I WRONG!!!?

I planted the seeds and watered them faithfully....then just when I had given up...the started to poke thru the soil....it took a long time, but I did end up with sunflowers! They weren't as full and lush and tall as I had hope....but they did bloom and I did enjoy them and nearly every seed came up. They offer a lot of bang for your buck....I would reccommend planting early so that you can enjoy them all summer!...
