Nine months ago I joined Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels, Inc. It is a Yorkie rescue but we also rescue other breeds under 15 pounds. This is the best thing I have ever done in my life. I have fostered numerous dogs. Most are purebred and the most loving adorable dogs anyone could meet. Because of this group, I have found purpose in my life. I love animals of all sorts.
We rescue these dogs from shelters, owner surrenders, and puppy mills. When I first joined the group I had no idea what a puppy mill was. Now that I know I wish I didn't. Animals are kept in small wire cages. Sometimes too small...
