I don't watch much prime time television and when the promos for FlashForward came on I didn't want to get caught up in yet another series that gets you hooked with great commercial hype then leaves you dead in the water wondering what happened.  Yes that's one heck of a run-on sentence but bear with me.  I watched the first episode, remote in hand ready to switch it to a movie . . . it never happened . . . within the first five minutes I was hooked on FlashForward. 

The premise is simply complex [oxymoron, indeed] the entire world goes unconscious for exactly two minute, seventeen seconds causing...
