Who knew? An old-timey men's shaving soap would work for women, too? My sweetheart turned me on to Williams' shaving soap a couple of months ago and I'm hooked.

I live aboard a sailboat and cans of shaving gel and cream tend to rust in the blink of an eye. Ewww! They can be a little pricey when you have to throw them out.

Using Williams' is a little more finicky than a can,though. It needs to be used with a mug and shaving brush. Run hot water over the brush, shake out the excess, and then whip up a lather in the mug with it. It doesn't make the same kind of lather that comes out of a can but it's...
