We have owned the Kenmore PRO or Elite French door with icemaker refrigerator since May of 2007. We are NOT happy with this product. It was labeled "Energy Star" and that was a big factor in our purchase, but later discovered by the Department of Energy to NOT be Energy Star compliant. As a matter of fact, even after a Kenmore circuit board modification to improve efficiency, this unit is using almost 60% more electricity that the product label at purchase reported ! Kenmore and LG (the actual maker) will do nothing about taking this thing back and LG is offering only about $7/year in compensation...
