    intolerant of long waits, picky, conscious of credentials, hate to have dental work, take good care of my teeth, desire prompt doctors, looking for insurance compatability, appreciative of good service

    I hate a severe dental phobia due to bad service I received when I was 19. It took me six years and anti-anxiety medication to finally be able to brave the dentist's chair. Dr. Scardetta was referred to me by 2 friends at work, and boy, that was a good referral. He accepts my insurance and doesn't do the claim form thing, which is a huge bonus. Appointments are pretty easy to get and I never wait more than 5 minutes to get in the chair. I had some really bad teeth, and was very happy that he didn't chastise me for it. All in all, I had about 9 fillings, 4 extractions (2 wisdoms, 2 molars) and one... review »
