I like a good char on my food as well as anyone. As Gordon Ramsay says, "Color is flavor" when it come to cooking. But Hunt's Fire Roasted Tomatoes goes too far beyond the char.

I bought several cans of the fire roasted and diced tomatoes to use in my southwest style chili and rustic pasta sauce. The picture on the label looked appealing - chunks of tomatoes with blackened grill marks striping the the surface. What was in the can, however, was surprising.
