My son has had and used many LeapFrog toys since he was an infant. Every Leapfrog toy he has had has lasted a long time, including the batteries. His first was the Leapfrog Drum which uses sounds, lights, numbers and letters to entertain him. This toy lasted for 3 years being played almost daily and I never had to change the batteries. He learned his alphabetes, phonic sounds, numbers and counting through Leapfrog videos which uses fun songs and animation along with a good story line to teach them.
