I'll just say upfront that I'm an Orthodox Christian, and the ideas Brown presents about Jesus in this book are heretical, and actually quite laughable for those who know even a bit about history.  But, I could forgive Brown the heresy if only he knew how to write a decent plot! — — It's an interesting idea, and who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory?  Aside from the fact that Brown seems to think he's writing historical fiction that's a bit more historical than it is (are we supposed to take seriously his assertion that the Priory of Sion was real?), he just… read full review »
