I purchased the Clearplay dvd player in November of 2008. I too have tried many ways to view movies without all the language etc. I thought this sounded like a good idea. After 4 weeks of trying to get the DVD player to work I gave up and returned it to the store. I was never able to get the player to recognize the filters. I have called Clearplay 8 times and only received one call back. Their customer service is terrible. When the DVD player played regular dvd's the picture faded in and out.
