    Contact buttons wear out in months, poor quality!

    You get what you pay for. This is a cheap unit, for short term use. I had a base unit and 4 satellite handsets. Every single one of the handsets developed contact buttons that stopped working within 6 months of purchase. The warrenty replacement units did the same thing. I would never suggest anyone buy this product. The frustration of having the "5" button or the "answer/send" button not work consistantly is very stressful, and in the case of an emergency, deadly.

    Hey, I read your review on the Motorola MD7161 cordless phone. I have not had the bad experience you had with this phone. Luck of the draw, maybe? Anyway, I'm curious as to where you found the additional handsets, as the system originally comes with just 3. I lost one and have had a hard time finding a replacement handset. Can you help me out?
