I purchased this GPS because I am a contract network repairman. It has been a pleasure and somewhat of a pain. The reason is most of the time the address I need to go to is in the register but sometimes it is not. I have found that if I have to go to a brand new place then it is not able to find that particular address. I have even uploaded the newest maps from Garmin. If you plan to keep the GPS for a couple years the lifetime map upload for a onetime fee is better than per map every quarter. I learned that after I had purchased a single map.
