Since I started using my battery operated Reach Access Flosser I no lnger have problems with my gums.  I have used this product for years, in fact, I can no longer find the battery operated version.  My only complaint is, that lately, I have found that the floss is, at times, not tight enough - or so weak that it breaks before I've flossed a couple of teeth.  The floss refills are expensive and it's upsetting if their quality is slipping.
