I was unable to obtain an English Bulldog at this time, but I STILL plan to get one! I'm force to wait on account the landlord won't let me have one, so I'll have to move to get one!

I'm waiting for an apt up the street, and hopefully soon, I'll be able to move into one that closer to the subway.

I truly LOVE the English Bulldog!! He's not too big, nor is he too small. He's about a medium-size dog - but smaller than the Bullmastiff. He stands low to the ground (about 14 inches high at the shoulders) and weighs about 50 to 55lbs, about the weight of a small air conditioner. He can sometimes get up to 65lbs!! Daily walks are needed so that he stays fit and doesn't become too obese. Don't let his ferocious intimidating look in his face fool you. He's as kind & gentle as a lamb and he wouldn't hurt a fly!! But he DOES have that uglybug cute look that you just can't resist. One look at him and you'll fall in love with him! And I truly wish that I had one! Like the one shown in my avator. I like that color the best. And I'm going to get one just like him some day soon! I'd LOVE to have a boy!! He truly shows majesty and power!! Take this lovable loving dog into your home and he'll reward you back for many, many, many years to come with tons of love!! He is so peaceful, gentle and loving. He loves & truly enjoys the quiet life and he hardly barks. He likes to give warm wet sloppy kisses to show his undying gentle love and affection, as he'll lick you in the face forever as long as you let him do it, and he likes to sit and lie down in his master's lap. Your favorite chair is also HIS favorite chair, as he'll want you to share it with him always! That's the closeness that he feels and likes to share with his master. He also likes to have his belly rubbed gently very often. I would imagine that this is a twice-daily ritual massage for him as well as a stress reliever. He likes to feel comfortable in his domain, knowing that he has a loving home and is very often good with children. He can also be a stress reliever. With those sad-looking brown eyes, how could anyone not want to have him as a lovingly loyal pet?! He likes to walk around the house now & then, so slowly and carefully - investigating and casing out the place just to make sure that he'll feel so welcome & comfortable. Once he's done that, he's all set to relax and be at ease in his comfortable new home. He likes to be the king in his castle. He'll give you all of the love and companionship that he has to offer, and even more besides!! He'll NEVER stop loving you!! He'll make you feel happy when you're down. He also makes a perfect watchdog, making sure that would-be burglars and intruders are scared away. And he'll follow his master all over the house and stick by him or her, as he loves and thrives on closeness and companionship!! He's a truly loyal loving pet! Don't be surprised, that if after you've gone to bed, that in the middle of the night, you find out he's lying right beside you, sleeping or he's waking you up and giving you more of those loving warm wet sloppy kisses again! He likes to play and be happy. Rub him gently on his head or back and like a baby, he'll go back to sleep. He DOES snore at times while sleeping though. He LOVES attention and he just can't seem to get enough of it!! He's the perfect lazyman's pet, as all he needs is a short daily walk on a loose leash. Also, if you don't want to go outside, neither will he want to! And just a small daily grooming. He likes to lounge around the house, especially next to his master!! He's one loyal pet and he won't leave your side. A friend for life!! In the winter, he likes to be warm and cozy at home on those bitterly cold days & nights. He'll cuddle up next you you either in bed or on the sofa! In the summer, be careful though, as he doesn't like and can't take too much heat, so you'll have to have an air conditioner around so that he stays comfortable cool also. The Bulldog is quite a pet, and is a homely companion. I wouldn't ever refer to him as an IT!! Dogs, cats and birds are like young children. You bring them home, you raise them and treat them like family, but unlike children who eventually grow up and leave the nest, the Bulldog never will. The Bulldog stays with his master all his life! I'll hold him, hug him, love him, kiss him and gently rub him on his big head just as if he were my very own little boy! He'll be very proud and he'll happily be glad to have me as his loyal & true companion and master!! When I get one, I'll call him my Little Buddy!! I'll spoil him rotten with lots and lots of sweet warm and gentle love!! Him and I will be the best of friends forever, doing what we will do best, being loyal companions to each other and enjoying one another's company!!! -=-=-=-=- I'm so very happy to report that I am finally adopting an English Bulldog!! I'm getting my wish. His name is Deuce. He's not the same color as the one in my avatar though. He's a brownish color. He's a bit ovwerweight and plump. I'm going to nickname him my big ole spoiled baby!! He became accustomed to being pampered and spoiled with his owner, so I'm sure that he'll expect the same from me as well. He should be with me next week on Wednesday if the weather is good. I'm going to happily love and care for him and treat him like he's my own child!! My big ole spoiled baby!!! ~Daquan13.
