I titled this know the facts; because I hadn't flown for 15 years prior to this experience.   I am not saying US airways is any different than any other airline, but I am still upset with them none the less!  I booked a flight with great rates!  $1200 for four of us.  Apparantly great rates mean you get connecting flights, delays, cancellations, and an exhausting stay at their airport.  We arrived at our destination with no problems.  It was getting home that was impossible that day.  Once again, if you don't fly, you might not have any idea what you are getting into.
