I had ordered flowers for a dear friend of mine who had just lost her mother-in-law unexpectedly. I placed the order on April 14th with a delivery date of April 16th. This order was to arrive in time for the visitation which was held the evening of April 16th. Come to find out the funeral home received the order one week late. And my friend was puzzled as to why I would've sent them after the services had been held.
