Replaced my 26 yr old GE with this one cos i thought it would be great.  Should have thought better of it since i found it in my sons' apartment.  Never was great at defrosting or melting anything, but otherwise worked okay.  Then after 3 years it occasionally started to make funny sounds and now at 4 years it sounds like it might actually explode.  Am currently looking for new countertop microwave, but finding it difficult at best.  Not many good reviews.  Also am looking for one for family of 5, so 1.5 CF to 2.0 CF if i can find it.
