Chapter 27 is a movie about Mark David Chapman, and his mindset in the time leading up to the killing of John Lennon. Mark was the man who shot Lennon outside of the Dakota Hotel in New York in 1980, and this movie gives us insight into what was going on in Chapman's mind before he decided to commit the murder. Some people seem to think a movie about the killer glorifies him and his crime, but I don't think this is the case here.
