I purchased this electric blanket for warmth mainly, as I live in the Northern Plains, South Dakota, to be exact, and our winters can be extremely cold.  I have already used it this fall numerous times, and I have never regretted my decision to purchase it. I felt the price was decent, when compared to other ones on the market.   The blanket works very well, and the feel of it when the heating element is turned off is soft.  The color I chose harmonizes well with the other comforter on my bed, so it doesn't look or feel like some of those heavy, unwieldly electric blankets from the past. ...
