My Yamaha V Star 650 Classic is pearl white and definitely commands quiet admiration and respect -- unlike the more gawdily turned out bikes out there. Be careful not to tack on too much jewelry or studding, since Yamaha's done a great job designing this classic beauty, with just enough brightwork to generate oohs and aahs (instead of "Holy Cr*p!"). Yes, it does get mistaken for a (much, much more expensive) Harley-Davidson, and I've even seen some V Star Classics with H.D. insignias attached (shame!).
