I have two children. My daughter is 5, loves art but is very self conscience of her artistic abilities. My son is 2 and could care less if it looks right, he just likes pounding, smashing and poking. This set was a perfect match for both!! I was a little aprehensive when I first saw it. Looked to simple. Ball the dough, stick in the toys. I was quite suprised to find that both were not only happy with it but happy for an hour!!! My daughter marveled over her creations (including an "ele-raffe" and a "parra-phant") with pride.
